What are our greatest fears? Regardless of whatever uncertainties we have in this life, God’s assurances still stand — “The Lord is for me; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Psalm 118.6)

Death

“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints” (Psalm 116.15).
“The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to
God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”  ! (1 Corinthians 15.56-57).

Illness

“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day” (2 Corinthians 4.16).
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (2 Corinthians 12.9).

Money & Finances

“I have been young, and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread” (Psalm 37.25).
“But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content” (1 Timothy 6.8).

War & Destruction

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10.28).

Crime

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans 12.21).
