Bible Bites
Ripe Old Age
“Then he [David] died in a ripe old age, full of days, riches and honor; and his son Solomon reigned in his place.” (1 Chronicles 29:28)
You know why we call it “a ripe old age” because growing old should be like fruit – we should be at our sweetest and best near the end.
Never stop growing. Age should make us better, not bitter.
“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.” (2 Corinthians 4:16)
