“He who loves pleasure will become a poor man; he who loves wine and oil will not become rich.” (Proverbs 21:17)
You’ll never have enough if you fall in love with the world’s goods. It is hard to save when you are so quick to spend.
The stats bear this out: wealthy people drive used cars, clip coupons, and accept having less. Keeping up with the Joneses just makes you fall behind.
Luxury living isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
